The Field struggled today in what can only be described as blustery conditions with the majority of players shooting over their handicap. 14 year old Alison Lee (Indooroopilly) has finished strong placing herself at the top of the leader board.Lee leads the field by one shot after the first round of the 2009 Katherine Hull Classic, firing a consistent round of 74 (+1) in difficult conditions on the Horton Park Layout. One shot back is Parkwood member Annie Choi who carded a 75 (+2). Parkwood member Sajin Baik has taken a two shot lead in the 15 years and under division firing a round 77(+4) to be two in front of Gennai Goodwin (Mossman) after she returned her card of 79 (+6). Susan Glasby (Ipswich) kicked off her tournament with a 80 (+7) to be in front by two shots in the 18 to 21 years division.
